Don't know what John Lewis are selling them for, but due to their price match policy, they should match the Tesco price. HTH if you can't get one at Tesco.

Rang the Stockton on Tees branch today - apparently they are expecting more in but didn't know when. He also mentioned that a lot of people have been ringing about them, so I expect them to disappear fast when they do turn up - if anyone happens to find them in stock there, can you let me know? I'd (ahem - my son would!) love one of these. ;)

They had loads of Raptors in Milton Keynes on Saturday and I saw what they can do. But can anyone explain what they're FOR?? Looks like about 20 minutes of play value before my kids go back to their Playstation.

I bought one for my son, aged 6. He played with it for about five minutes, then put it away. I played with it, for about half an hour. It is fantastic technology, but long term value is poor. Once we had worked out all it's functions and seen it move, we were all a bit bored. It does look fab, but the K-nex case has had much more use.
