what's the fascination with these things? It seems a lot of money (to me) for something that doesn't seem to do very much at all and will probably be left in a corner of a room by Boxing Day when the initial novelty has worn off.0

Seems £49.99 has become the unofficial rrp for this item0

Hi Newbie here
Might have already been on here - but just in case - Roboraptors are selling in Woolworths for £49.99. Picked one up from the Portsmouth store on Friday and they had about 10-12 left...

Managed to pick a Robosapian, £43.99, from Woolies in Bracknell. None on display but someone managed to find one out the back. Stated "They probably aren't on display as they are so expensive!".
Thanks again to the OP.0 -
I see that the price on the website has now bounced back up from £49.99 to £79.74 in the last 24 hours. I assume the frenzy that has been created by reducing the price to £50, then watching as demand goes through the roof, and then the inevitable shortage for Christmas has produced the desired effect. The fact that they are now hard to come by will make parents believe that this is the ubertoy of 2005. I believe Play.com still have them at £70, the best deal I have saw on the web.0
