The worst part of this was the fact ebay may be interested in giving him a job! Who says crime doesn't pay?

I missed the film ..... why would they give him a job? So he cant spot the scammers....... thats what us honest ebayers do regularly, policing there listings and seeing the scams and trying to warn ebay and other ebayers.

What really gets my goat is the fact that ebay say they have excellent customer service! I was at one of their University days last year and that same bloke from last nights programme said they employ 1,000 staff in the UK! Yet when the ITV TV crew were filming outside HQ in Richmond Surrey there was nobody about and it didn't seem like a building to house 1,000 people! The recent BBC TV programme ' Make Money From Old Rope' filmed the staff (of which were about only 20 staff) inside the building and as part of the staffs' jobs, they are allowed to spend time listing items on eBay, which means they are not going to be that bothered about customers's problems are they?
I think it is about time ebay started to spend some of the millions of profit they make and actually have a call centre to deal with customer service. Then get their staff to concentrate on customers not their own listings!!!!

Lets hope that Google enter the market as rumoured.

Will if google do then ebay will get their act together, they've got away with so much for so long now. so some friendly competition is long overdue...............
