watchingit myself with laptop on knee, this ginger lad is ridiculas. What makes them think that they can get away with it. I hope he does some time for it. It's people like him who make places like e-bay a worring place to trade.Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0

The ginger lad is a thief. He had no intention of honouring the items he was selling. Thats bad.
But what about all the fakes out there. People usually don't know they've bought a fake so thats what I think gives eBay a bad name. When I look for dvds it amazes me because I reckon at least a third I look at are pirate copies. I know what I'm looking for but to be honest I don't usually llok on eBay. I rather pay more and know what I'm getting. And did you see the eBay chap telling us all how eBAy cares and responds to all problems. That's made my mind up I don't think I'll ever use eBay again.
Ps Apologies to those genuine eBayers of which I'm sure there are plenty but you are braver than me.I don't believe it!0 -
It's a shame that people feel the need to rip off people by saying genuine, most people go to turkey and places and happily buy rip off gear, so to sell geniune knock off is ok-ish as people are prepared to buy it but to sell stuff thats fake as genuine is naughty, naughty.0

There are plenty of honest eBayers selling genuine items....me for one :-). It's the scum coming in for the quick kill that gives others a bad name....and eBay is not helping out here. I have seen people selling fake software where they clearly state it's "similar to the original", they have PRIVATE feedback so complaints are NOT visible & eBay ignores.0 -
well when you are only paying £20 for a fendi bag or a gucci purse if you think it's real then your to nieve(sp?) for your own good. I think most people know by now that alot of those kind of goods are going to be fakes. A friend of mine recently bought a fake chrisdian dior bag and purse which she knew was a knock-off but was still happy, she got it for £18 and no-one else knows its fake.Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0

But half the idea to eBAy is that you might get that bargain so people will always be drawn to items that appear cheap. I suspect there are an awful lot of people who don't realise thay are buying fake stuff (which incidently is itself illegal - I bet Burberry aren't too pleased with all those fakes being sold).
I find the attitude that you should know its a fake if its cheap to be somewhat dismissive and probably contributes to fake sellers being able to operate. What they are doing is illegal ( or at least misleading) and eBay doesn't care. I have seen eBayers with a feedback over 1000 with >99% positive who appear to be selling mainly pirated or fake goods.
Hands up all who have had a bad experience on eBay? And when you did was it sorted out properly to your satisfaction? Thought so.I don't believe it!0
