Lloyds Classic Plus 6% - is your interest correct this month?

Hi guys.
After all the hassle of talking to customer service last month and going into branch... Lloyds TSB have also got the interest seriously wrong again, same as you guys, a matter of a few pence interest for the month of August. Britain's most trusted bank... they claim!
I think we need a collective voice via this site to get Lloyds TSB to publicly own up to getting things wrong, repeatedly, and making it as difficult as possible to complain and get a satisfactory response. I got a letter from CS in Birmingham owning up to the wrong calculation but then refusing to compensate until I sent them full details of my claim in the reply paid envelope that they failed to enclose. Their letter signs off saying if we don't hear from you we'll close the file!
If I paid them one day late they'd slap a £12 account admin fee on me without having to justify theselves one little bit. It's all very unfair and the only thing we can do individually is to walk or to complain to the ombudsman. Such hassle! I just wish Martin was on the case and named and shamed TSB on air!0 -
Checked my two accounts today, bothe should have received about £7 got 16p. Can't believe they've done it again.
I'm still waiting for the £25 they promised me last month for all their mistakes, will give them hell again.
Quick tip - if a debit card on one of your accounts won't work, but the other will, don't believe them when they say that all your details have to match across all accounts. Despite their denials for nearly 2 months, I finally discovered that one account had an extra space in the middle of the postcode, causes all transactions to be denied 'postcode doesn't match' and my money earmarked for 4 days each time.
Only discovered when out of frustration I demanded they check the postcode, including spaces yet again, and they immediately said, 'you know what, I think there's an extra space'.Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

I agree. There should be a collective complaint and naming and shaming in newspapers and Martin's TV program. Like-a-Dream is very right about banking slapping their overdraft fines and when they make a mistake there is no fine on the bank.0

Well I can beat you all - I got 57p. Mind you, it should have been £9-24. This is worse than last month. Has anyone received an apology?
PS I wonder if we'll get interest on interest0 -
I just called them, raised an enquiry. Said will receive a response in 5 working days. At the end of the call they tried to sell additional products. I'm thinking maybe it's just a ploy to try to recoup the 6% interest paid out by getting money off 0845 calls and selling more products.0

I didn't contact them last time and I'm not planning to this time. Why waste money, that's not why I'm on MSEHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

Just been to a branch and queried this with a cashier. She disappeared into the back for while, came back with nothing and then finally said that there is a notice on the screen saying that there has been a problem with the computer system affecting interest payment to Class Plus account holders. This should be rectified by Friday 5 September, plus interest on the interest.0

There's no need to waste money using an 0845 number to call them. They freely publicise their normal landline number as an alternative - 01733 347 007“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
Thanks to those of you who have phoned/queried this. I have the grand total of 4p which is worse than last month. It is turning into a joke!0
