    In this time and age (particular after 9/11), with international legislation against money laundering in place it is absolutely impossible. Even Swiss numbered accounts do not exist anymore.

    Hope your dad’s novel is set in the past, maybe twenty years ago.

    I have no idea, he is the keeping details very close to his chest and this is the most he has disclosed to me!

    Thanks for the advice, I did wonder about the Swiss accounts but now know thats a non starter too.

    Just thinking......so are all Swiss acounts like this now or are the ones that were set up pre 9/11 still anonymous?
