Well I was thinking traditional PC but I was already expecting the Apple lads to contribute and when I said "anything goes" I meant it. So, much appreciated. Better to have Apple suggestions from people who know and love Mac than someone who doesn't. :)

Well when I win the lottery or come up with a billion pound idea I'll have to get me one of those as well. :D

But if you buy it through Quidco you get 3% off at the Apple Online S(t)ore or a whole 5% off at Microwarehouse.

So, it's a bargain, really. :money:

I'm sure it's just petty cash for Be_Alright - if he can fit it under his bridge.

Don't laugh at banana republics. :rotfl:

As a result of how you voted in the last three General Elections,
you'd now be better off living in one.

What, that AMD processors have now gone quadcore and that a dualcore processor is actually not bleeding edge anymore?

The problem with cutting-edge technology is that it's usually the early adopters of it that wind up bleeding - if they haven't already been bled dry by the initial price of it.

I'd be a bit remiss if I started a rather general thread and then was too narrow minded to allow people's suggestions. And considering I did say ultimate PC, you and Marty win hands down so far in terms of specs. :D

I know that feeling, but it's just part of it and you get on with it

It's wiser to surf the wave behind and modify one's strategy when one's seen what results in a wipeout.
