thanks ms_london - i think i just got out of the wrong side of the bed this morning! I'm just being grumpy for the sake of it now! Have rearranged cinema for monday - if I go tonight I think I'd just end up taking my bad mood out on my friend!

God, thats exactly how im feeling :0) I hope we both feel less grumpy soon, or at least that the day finishes soon so that we can go home & wallow in it :0)

Mango - really sorry about your payrise, what a bummer.

I was thinking of taking the kids out either to see Nanny McPhee or on a train journey somewhere (with Family Railcard). It gets boring just going to the same places every day.

  • I have no plans to go out this weekend, as I need to give the veggie patch a good makeover. I find this a very relaxing pastime and recommend gardening to one and all…..

Some ornamental shrubs need to be re-located now they are dormant as the Veggie Patch is being extended to grow more things like beans, broccoli, cabbages and I may try Brussel Sprouts. Hopefully the weather will remain mild and not too wet. The Compost Man said they do not deliver compost anymore and as I have no trailer I will have to look elsewhere… The garden shed and tools also need a really good cleaning and tidying up…. Oh Hum…the trials and tribulations of an Old Styler….hee hee.... :D

  • I have an eye infection! Good news is that I won't be going anywhere to spend money as can't see.... Bad news is it hurts and I'm bored already!!! Oh and had to buy some glasses as can't wear contacts (although I got them half price and then a further £55 off with a work voucher so not all bad). Man I hate being skint....

  • Worked in the pub last night, so earned myself £44.20 including tips. Meeting friends for lunch today and hope to spend £20 max, then tomorrow going over to my sisters to see the kids dressed up for Halloween so will probably take over some goodies £5 max. So should spend £25 if all goes to plan but have amde more than that in part time job!

Going to a free fireworks display tonight - it's put on each year by the rich lady who lives at the end of our village.

Mind you, this is the first year it's been free!!

So a nice cheap one for us tonight.

It's also my second daughters first fireworks night - so I hope she doesn't mind the load bangs etc...

Went to Tesco last night so I can stay in today, got a hot chicken half price because it was almost 10pm when they close the deli counter so that will feed us today.

OH is out for now so I have been loitering on here and sorting out my online banking,

Party for a friend's birthday tonight, present was £12 and we will ned a taxi home but no bar bill just take some beer and wine, already got that.

No real plan for tomorrow, depends on weather, and whether we have a bit of a head after tonight LOL so poss no cost day. Need to put my work expenses onto the form as I am seeing the boss on Tuesday so he can sign them and I will get the money before the CC bill needs paying.
