    Debt-free and Proud!
Tonight - gym (already paid for) the bed.

Sat - church conference in mroning, getting lift. EVening - going to a party. Was originally a house party so I was going to take a bottle of vodka I already have, thereby making it free BUT it is now in a pub, so will have to spend money I don't have!!

Sun - recovering! Housework, maybe gym or swimming.

Ebaying lots. Got my internet access back on line now so that's the plan!

Bloke is coming round Saturday during the day, and Sunday during the day, but as he's working nights, he's coming round to sleep. So he reckons I should stay up all night and then sleep with him. Hmmm... getting jeg lag for him. Must be love.

So in the middle of the night tonight and tomorrow night I'll be ebaying, making a sponge cake to use up some leftover icing, and going food shopping probably very early in the morning (gonna try buying potatoes and making mash and freezing it, to make fish cakes later in the week). Maybe playing computer games and having long bubble baths and watching videos stuffing my face full of said sponge cake will figure in there somewhere. Not much room left in there timewise to be able to spend much money!
Pay off CC debt by Xmas 2017 #095 £0 of £11,416
  • i shall sleep all day saturday as i am flying home overnight ( 12 hour flight )
sunday will be a 'getting over the jetlag day' and that involves drinking copious amounts of tea curled up on the couch watching ( cheap or freebie ) DVDS and long fresh air intake walks with the dog.
i will not be spending a single penny between now and monday : )

OH back tonight...3 dvd that I got from a free trial to watch..
Maybe take kinders to the cheap seats film tomorrow morning. Only £1.50 per seat..bargain!!!
Sunday got to drop OH and 3 kinders off at church, while I go and pick up other kinder from Lancaster!
They'll have lunch at church though cause its someone's 50th and we're doing a party. Only have to supply some coleslaw and a bottle...

I'll be heading up North back home tonight. yay! Train ticket bought in advance at the start of the month, so within budget. Staying at my mum's house tonight and no doubt press ganged into baking them some fairy cakes (I did teach my younger brother but he normally jettisons the baking stage and just eats the raw mix!). spend Saturday taking advantage of Northern bargain shops to stock up on shampoo, shower gel, get veggies from the market for next week's eating.

Into manchester Sat nite to watch Mylo as part of my best friend's birthday celebrations. ticket was bought months ago, plus one for my OH who has since become fit enough to go and run a mountain marathon this weekend. Best friend has a buyer for the spare ticket and so I will be £12.50 in profit!! Will eat before I leave, and shouldn't spend more than the returned £12.50 on drinks.

Sunday, go and pay respects at my Dad's grave and tell him I've finished my PhD, plus latest updates on the wedding plans. Receive weary boyfriend on return from mountain marathon. Dinner at mum's, late drive back to London :( (hopefully dodging temptation for service station costa almond macaroon!)

My payrise came through today - but its ended up being such a tiny amount that I need to go home and check & double-check tax codes and stuff like that  It's put me in such a bad mood I've cancelled my plans for tonight (was meant to go to the cinema), so at least I won't be spending any money today.

I don't have much planned for the weekend - I might try and see if I can cut down on my food budget for this month (I currently spend £60 on all food/cleaning & household items). I've also been thinking about stopping my TV licence so I might have a go at a TV free couple of days so see if I can cope!!

    All very exciting stuff :o

Sorry to hear that!! You usually get around a £50 net increase for every £1,000 per annum. Doesnt seem like a lot then does it??

Couldnt you go to the cinema anyway? Although I know how you feel when you just want to go home, im feeling like that today!!

I hope you have a good weekend & feel happier soon.

thanks ms_london - i think i just got out of the wrong side of the bed this morning! I'm just being grumpy for the sake of it now! Have rearranged cinema for monday - if I go tonight I think I'd just end up taking my bad mood out on my friend!
