I've got nothing planned today except to read a couple of books, although I can only do that if I manage to drag myself away from the internet. Maybe if someone comes up with a way of separating the child from the tv I can use that on myself?!
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

Well after getting well and truly smashed last night, I woke up at 1.30 with a raging thirst! Slept on the sofa till DD2 (the naughty one) woke me up at 4.30am - that is three days on the trot that I have been woken up at that time and stayed up. Didn't like to start the daily thread in case people thought I was nuts!

Spent the last few hours tidying up for the party that really shouldn't be happening but have been talked into) at least the house is now tidy. I have to vacate the property so they can party in style. don't worry I have bouncers - so my and OH are going to see the new batman film. I will be lucky if I stay awake!

Spud - did you get the scan bran. Just discovered that the woman who takes the post at night is an 'airhead' and that is being polite and some post has gone missing.

Pap - its great to see you! I sent you an email through your website about a card I need - did you get it.

    Part of the Furniture
    afternoon all!!

I haven't been up to much so far today myself... some washing in off the line (just in time before a downpour phew!!) caught up on dishes, put some washing on, tidied up a little... erin is watching telly and is bored (think "bored" in the tone on of kevin the teenager, and she is only 7!)

We were going to go and take dogs out for a long walk but the rain isn't stopping long enough... and i don't fancy wet dog smell, even if it is confined to the kitchen!

A friend is having a housewarming party starting this afternoon carrying on into the evening, pity for her it's persisting of rain here, thundery storms n all sorts! she was hoping to have an indoors outdoors kinda party with bbq....
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
