BT Fusion
tahoma
Hi All,
Just had all the info on BT Fusion, and trawled through the website. Is this really such a good deal? I normally pay about £20/6 weeks on a Virgin pay-as-you-go and am wondering if the BT Fusion 100 is actually a deal for me. It is a landmine situation trying to work out the true benefits. Any comments would be welcome.
Thanks

Steer Clear Of Btmobile
Do A Search And U Will Find Loads Of Bad Experiences From Moneysavers0 -
you need to have BTBroadband for a start
The phone automatically detects when you are in range of the BTFusion modem/router and makes calls at standard local call rates (i,e, 5p for up to an hour off peak), when you are out of range it reverst to the mobile network(they use Vodaphone) .As a bonus the router has wireless 801.g + bluetooth so you can use it for a wireless network and to connect other bluetooth devices
I know someone who is on the trial and the technology works very well and unlike BTmobile (which was with T-Mobile) this one is with VodafoneEx forum ambassador

I've recently signed up to the Fusion service tempted by their "17.99 off your broadband for 3 months, if you sign up before Jan 31st."
They've recently changed it to "FREE broadband for 3 months if you sign up before 30th April"
I hate it when a deal changes just after you accept. :mad:0 -
I recently signed up - I think it proably is only a good money saver if you already have or want the BT broadband. My experience withthem so far has been good. I had severl problems during set up but the customer service staff were able to resolve quickly - including sending me a new handset. I also have a house with thick walls but BT will send out an engineer with a range extender all free of chareg if you aske them The engineer can also set up your pc's if you need it.0
