Comet doing Sony v4000 with free blu-ray player for £699.99 -had flyer through today

:cool: Just bought ths package with a 5 year warranty from Sony store in Brent Cross which is a Sonex store rather than a Sony Centre for £699.99 including a 5 year warranty!
The Sony stores inside Debenhams seem to be doing the deal - Brent Cross have aranged for the Plymouth store to get mine delivered as i live in Cornwall. If you can get to a store they were also offering 9 months interest free credit with £100 deposit.They will also deliver/install for £65
This deal should be an in-store deal but i managed to buy/order it over the phone and send a chq as they couldn't take credit cards over the phone.
Also available in several other Sonex stores def Bromley.
This deal is so worth it with the 5 year guarantee for both items even though free 5 bluray discs offer has expired.

No nothing yet! Just back from hols - so I did the online thing 2 weeks and 1 day ago...

I'll give it a week or so before I chase.

I just checked a screen print that I did when I completed the registration. It says the discs will arrive within 28 days. So I can wait longer.

Anyone know if this blu ray player plays region 1 DVDs? If not, can a setting be made to change this?
