Hi
When i goto ebays home page i am getting a ( pop up )Prompt to enter my password and user name.
The box is from dpf.doubleclick.net
This has just started to happen this morning.
i was wondering if anyone else has had this.
i ran scan for spyware and virus's and nothing is showing.
Thanks
Jaffa

I just tried logging on, my log on page is normal. There was no pop up box and the page looked exactly as it always has been.0

Yep! I got the same thing this morning and it was happening last night as well .

Jaffa,
It sounds like you might be interested in setting up a hosts file. It's very good at protecting you from many of these dodgy sites.0 -

I just disabled some of my security and checked my privacy report for the ebay main page and it's blocking popups and cookies from doubleclick.net, so I don't think it's anything on your machine. Is the popup a secure window (check your padlock
)? I don't think I'm ever going to be able to undo all the security settings on my machine to actually see it myself.

Oh, by the way, if you just want to get rid of the popup, go into Internet Options -> Security -> Restricted Sites (icon) -> Sites and add the following line and it should stop it:-
*.doubleclick.net0 -
I'm getting the same pop-up username/password request too! Someone's mentioned this problem on the techy board as well, but not seen an answer or explanation as yet.
Only seems to be affecting internet explorer - firefox and opera are ok.
The actual pop up reads as follows:
"Enter network password.
This secure website(at dfp.doubleclick.net) requires you to log on.
Please type the User Name and Password that you use for DART"
It's got me stumped!!!!!!0 -
