O2 Pay Upfront For Life
Has anyone tried to convert a PUFFL sim to a standard tariff and got a good deal for doing so?
Mine is not used very often, mainly for calls to 0870/0845. Its on the Anytime 50 version of the tariff. I get free itemised billing in compensation for an earlier dispute, so the bill is usually zero.
Is it worth their while to get me onto a paying tariff? What I would like is something like 500 mins/100 texts and a new phone for about £15 per month.

You should probably keep that, and do any deal separately - is it likely they'll offer any extra incentive to get rid of it if you're talking about it anyway?
What was the earlier dispute?
Maybe the contract is transferable and you could sell it - I've heard people say this about other discontinued tariffs0 -
The earlier dispute was when they messed up my request to transfer to a different version of the tariff (200 minutes off peak).
I remember reading somewhere that it isn't transferrable to anyone else.

I'll stick with it - be nice to get free billling as well though, even online ... and I wouldn't sell it anyway.
I've used it abroad a bit - with ITS it's about half the price of Orange in Eastern Europe, but that's only a backup now to other ideas here, foreign SIMs etc - I like the call diversion to int'l numbers as well.0
