Firefox & Gmail can't report spam

OK chaps, I use Firefox 3 I also have a googlemail account (Generally used for comps etc.) but I normally use Thunderbird for emails.
When I try to report a spam message (on this site) I click on the red triangle and it automatically opens my googlemail account (in a new tab) with the abuse email address already added in, BUT it doesn't include the full 'address' it does not include the last few characters (typically the ones that identify the post) See example:
This is what is filled in in the 'To' box
abuse@moneysavingexpert.com?subject=Reporting post http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html
Whereas it should show a further - ?p=12970323 which identifies the post. (note this is not a spam post)
Any suggestions? I can't right click and copy email address because it only copies abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.
Thanks

You need to configure Windoze to open Thunderbird when you clcik on the report button. Try Start, Set Program access and defaults. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

I can't do it at work, it keeps trying to open outlook, which we don't use here. I've got the email in my favourites in my gmail account, and just link to the post instead.0

As a last resort, right click the triangle -> properties to get the full URL and copy/paste the bits to the correct places, replacing %20 with spaces where necessary.Conjugating the verb 'to be":

TBH I'd rather not have it going through Thunderbird, just through gmail in a new tab, but I guess this isn't doable?.....0

Would the suggestions in this post from sra be any use then?Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

(I've seen that bug in the past but had completely forgotten about it)
Another solution is the Gmail This bookmarklet (Clicking on it while viewing the offending post)
This is the third thread on this now.I think I'll need to try all the options for the different webmail providers and put up a post about it.0 -

I can't understand why you don't want to use Thunderbird as you "normally use Thunderbird for emails"
Job jone!

Can't be arsed really! Well I consider it differently I don't consider it as real email as I only use it for comps and junk and stuff like that, so I don't really want it in with Thunderbird. I know that doesn't really make sense!!!.....0 -

Sounds a good plan.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
