Strange things with Bank Account - Help Please

well its a catalogue account and i pay them this way every month and my payment is usually cleared within 2 days when i check my balance with them it shows as them havin recieved the payment. and the other payment was a purchase for my monthly train pass i asked at the station if there was a problem an they said not as far as they were concerned so im really at a loss as to what to do. when i called the bank they said give it another week which i thought was strange

Same sort of thing for me, one of my payments was to T-Mobile and as far as they are concerned my account is clear and the others were to various places like Tesco's etc, dont really know what to do, cant phone Tesco and tell them it hasnt come out of my account, how would they find my payment etc ?, It is good to know that is just not happening to me, seems to be the problem was def last Monday and Tuesday ??

yea i paid for my pass on monday morning on the way to work an paid my bill tues afternoon the werid thing is i have made payments or used my card since and them payments show as cleared and on my statement but i agree with you its good to know im not alone lol when i called the bank the woman spoke to me like i was a weirdo lol

They thought I was a bit strange too, trying to explain it over the phone etc, I think they just thought I was some mad woman with nothing better to do :rotfl: things I have paid for since have come out of my account in the normal way and are showing as cleared, the missing payments havent cleared today either ! wonder how long we will have to wait.

i have just checked my bank an its not cleared again today i dont know if i should call the bank again although last time they said theres nothing they can do - its been a week now it should defo have cleared looks like we are gonna have to wait another day to see if it clears tomorrow but if not how long should i wait an what should i do ????

It is driving me mad, why can't they just clear it !!, I know it will clear at some point so the money has to stay in the account, but I am a right obsessive about money anyway, check my online account ALL the time and know to the penny who much we have left for each month and this is just mucking me up !

The money still hasn't cleared, well over a week now. Kayleigh did you call the bank again ?

yea i called again yesterday afternoon an they said the companys have 30 days to claim the funds from my account but the guy said he thinks its very strange it hasnt already been taken - he went through to the visa department and came back saying it should be cleared in the next couple of days (whatever he was told i dont know) but i have checked my account again this morning and guess what - - its still not gone
