I'm aiming for a no frivolous spend day today... won't manage nothing at all but nothing unnecessary!

i'm running on fumes so i need petrol... have brought in a packed lunch for the first time in weeks!! (haven't dared to go on the lunch loggers thread, too ashamed!!)

Stair gate purchase will be entirely with nectar points, so i can feel like i was shopping for free!!!

morning all. Its my dds birthday today too. 13!!!! Luckily so far she hasnt turned into a 'Kevin' so we are off to the cinema this afternoon to see Angus, thongs and perfect snogging (erm...yippee?)

Made her be really careful taking of the paper for her pressies so we can reuse it lol. Got all the food for the party last night for £18!! used every voucher I had and even though i work in the shop, they questioned whether or not I had bought the stuff the vouchers were for LOL - it was obvious I hadnt but somehow she put them through anyway ;) Not bad for 40 people. Everything was the basic range :) (except the marshmallows - why dont they do value marshmallows?)

Will be on later for a catch up. How did you get on Pania...did you call them?

    Good morning :D

We're having a day pottering here and there. Tempted to go get some stick insects for the kids later, they're dead cute and more of a dried up leaf than a stick ;)

Happy birthday to all celebrating
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

Thanks guys - I will just have to be patient a bit longer. The only thing is, the company's interim results will be out in a few days (before the 14 days is up), which could either send the share price higher....or could bring it crashing right down and I could lose out on literally hundreds of pounds. :o

Fingers crossed for the first option!
