In a week or two Zopa will increase the fee charged to lenders from 0.5% to 1% of the money lent out. This change won't apply to any account created before the new rate starts, so it's worth considering signing up now.

There are no referrer offers for signing up at the moment.

It is worth signing up now, even if you don't lend immediately, to ensure you will get the lower lending fee.

This increase in rate charged to lenders to 1% of outstanding loans they have made is now in place for all new Zopa lenders who join after 4:30PM today. Anyone who created an account before then will continue to get the 0.5% rate, or whatever other rate they may be on if they joined in the very early days.

Also some talk on the forums about loaning members maybe getting a few shares if the company floats???

That would be nice. I am enjoying the interaction, and to be honest, as my loans are payed back, I will just reloan for fun, so I do see it as a interesting system.
