Supermarkets Grocery Shrinking

  • Where the price is not printed on the packaging - the supermarkets DO set the prices so they are ripping people off.

It doesn't bother me particularly - if I want something I buy it. If it looks like it is worth what they are asking for it then I buy it.

But I know there are lots of people who do have to watch the pennies and it all adds up to a bigger bill which may cause problems for them.

You have to have your wits about you when you're shopping. It is a war out there! Tesco (YUK) use heat seeking cameras!!!
Don't grow up. Its a trap!

  • And what about Asda (I think) reducing the 1 pint milk from 568 ml to 500 ml but charging the full price?

They have at overall profit margin of only 5 percent, how is that a rip off?
  • Perhaps by cutting back on some pack sizes it will stop people getting so FAT.

Supermarkets - saving you money and helping you lose weight.

I paid 4p (yes really) for 250g of brocolli in Tescos yesterday.
This used to come in pack size of 300g. Who can I complain to?
