Birstall just down the road ! £75 to join a gym seems very cheap. Is this for a year or some sort of joining fee?"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts."

Small world!! Yes it is £75 joining fee then £35 a month. Don't mind paying monthly but everyone else I speak to thinks it is a lot to pay to join. I might be moving soon so might only go for 6 months.
Apparently if you work for certain companies or if you are a student you can get it free......0 -
I tend to think that is quite a lot in total I assume thats some sort of peak rate membership allowing you entry at any time. You could look to going on a "restricted hours" membership if you can find the times to be agreeable. They do seem to have a student rate although no idea what it is you would have to haggle. Isn't there another gym up Huddersfield road Total Fitness I think. Have you tried that might be cheaper. You say you might be moving in 6 months so be careful what your signing. If they want you to pay monthly it will more than likely be a credit agreement they want to sign and you will be agreeing to and liable for paying the full 12 months!"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts."

If your a student, i think they do a student discount because JJB is now a member of the NUS discount card thing so its worth asking if they dont student discounts0
