tigtag02 is right, Titch89 is talking about herself. She has already been told by the DVLA that she is not allowed to drive, so I don't really understand the purpose of the question?!
You could move along then

Or I could stop people wasting their time on a question that the OP already knows the answer to?

Was there any need for your comment?

have you ever thought of the sociological affects of been told by dvla that you cannot hold a licence or ever drive because of X problem and you cannot understand why
YES - my wife had her licence revoked by the DVLA 4 years ago when she was 'only' 44.

You have to get on with life and adapt - however the possible consequences of driving when you shouldn't are far worse. How would you feel if you injured/killed someone, plus the financial implications as your insurance would be invalid.

The hospital have said to us that some people send friends in when they need eye tests to ensure they can carry on driving - IT'S NOT WORTH IT!

If you actually read my post, you'd know it's not me I'm talking about.

The problem is that in every thread you start you lie, contradict and change your story so much that everyone on these boards who knows your posting history is not prepared to believe anything you say, consequently although people have actually read your post nobody believes it is not you that you are talking about.

Edit:- Notice posts are disappearing again, wonder how long this will stay.

The OP reminds me of Matilda from the nursery rhyme

The person I'm talking about is a 17 year old male. Last time I checked, I was neither of them. Also, I'm NOT stupid enough to go against the advice of 2 professionals.

Exactly. It doesn't get any easier either. My parents have known since I was 3 that I could never drive and it was confirmed when I was 18. It wasn't easy being told then I wasn't allowed to drive and it's not any easier either.

    1. As already said anybody that knows your post history is not prepared to believe you.

    2. We only have your word for that.:D

    3. Debatable, as you ignore any advice anyone on these forums gives unless it agrees with what you want to hear.

If you have a 17 year old male friend who suffers from Nystagmus and comes to you for advice on his condition ... then I wonder why you don't seek his advice on how to help you manage day-to-day, rather than posting on here.

I would imagine you're most likely to get fairly good advice from a fellow Nystagmus sufferer than from lots of non-sufferers on this forum.
