Have you considered Megabus?
You are too early for them too, but looking at mid May (out 12th, back 19th), I can see tickets at £5.50 each way.0 -
I book with them once or twice a month and I always check around for discount codes before I book. I haven't found any since December. Thought I had cracked it last week when I saw SKITEN posted on topcashback (you are also supposed to get 5% cashback through them but I have had to put in a "missing" claim for every booking made since last November) but it is only for departures from Uk to overseas ski resorts!0

DEST10 just worked for me today for travelling in March - I received 10% off my fare0

Anyone know a new code? DEST10 has expired and SKITEN is only for departures from Uk to overseas ski resorts.

I don't know where you are travelling from, or when you want to travel, but you can go to Skegness from Stockton by train later this month for £42.80 total return for all three of you.
If you get a Family and Friends Railcard, that fare drops to £22.30 and of course the railcard can be used for other trips later in the year.
Get a cheap F&F Railcard here... only £19.50 this month.
