Evening all ... had a letter through from mortgage company today following the last overpayment, and they have increased my monthly payments by 2.00 a month (no idea why?) and this means they say my mortgage will end in March 2029 :j :j So for some reason unbeknown to me, my mortgage has had 3 months knocked off it today

    Hi Benben

It may be that they like to keep things in six month "tranches" - when I was investigating paying off my Northern Rock loan, they could only do it in multiples of six months, thats all they were set up for, so the payment would vary according to whether it was 36 months or 42 months, for instance. Whichever, its good news for you, for an extra £2 a month!

You may be right KC, but they've never done it that way before  I'm just wondering if next time they will adjust it back again?? Maybe I'll keep my signature how I think it is and then if they do adjust it back it won't matter ;) and if they don't then I'll adjust it next time and it will be a bonus :D

Nothing much else to report this morning, another school day ahead, going to the gym after work again  and then an early night as I'm knackered :o

Can you let me know what time you want to meet on Saturday. Anytime in the morning is good for me, Kizzy is coming from Portsmouth so I thought maybe 11am?

    Looking forward to it xx

Today was an odd day ... I couldn't find the electronic thing to open the garage this morning and after lots of panicky chucking the flat upside down looking for it I finally admitted defeated and we had to walk to school for the first time  It took 40 minutes to walk to ds school, drop him off and then go on to my school.

I went to the gy after work with a friend and they gave me a lift back to ds school to collect him and we walked from there. So I did half an hour at the gym and a nice walk today :T :T and it was a nsd too :D:D
