Last night was a friends leaving do from work, I spent £5.25 on a game of bowling (we'd already paid for one game) and £1.60 on a drink (I was driving), so a pretty cheap night really
During the day yesterday at work I spent £1.60 on a cake for ds summer fayre.
Today we're off to the afore mentioned fayre and no doubt will spend lots of money on side stalls etc, but ds loved it last year so should be funMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Summr fayre was okay but not as good as last years, spent too much but not ridiculous amounts, 50p entrance, £1.20 on fairy cakes that were horrible , £1 on 2 go's on the lucky dip (got a notebook and some stickers), 50p for the bouncy castle, £1 for the tombola, 50p for the filled flowerpot, £1 for a tattoo, £1.50 for facepainting, £1 for pottery painting, £1 for 5 paperback books for ds inc. 3 x roald dahl books
and 50p for Mousetrap, which I'm regretting already as its such a faff to set up and then the traps don't always work properly

Ben Ben hope you dont mind me asking but how do you manage to do 4 loads of washing and get it dry do you have outside area, I could only ever manage to do a maximum of 2 loads a day and get it dried outside, or do you use a tumble dryer.2010 - Goals

I don't have any outside area, but am really lucky that I have 5 velux windows, so I put it all straight on hangers and hang it all along the windows, it dries really quickly in this heat and half of it doesn't need ironing either
I also have 3 of those things for hanging socks etc from, so all the underwear / socks etc go on those
Bedding gets taken round to mums to go on her washing line
I do have a tumble dryer but its in the garage and hasn't been used now for over 2 years :T

Last night was a wierd one; Mum phoned at about 8:30 asking me to go over there as dad was very confused and had been talking to me for the last 2 hours and was upset because I was ignoring him
He'd also gone out to the fish and chip shop and returned with 2 carrier bags full (they'd had dinner) because "that man over there" told him to
My sister came too and we spent about 3 hours talking to him, almost all of the conversation was complete nonsense and was horrible to see him like that.
On the way home we have to go along a country lane and a car came speeding the other way and as we went a bit further we saw a baby deer that he'd hit in the roadIt was still alive so we called the vet and they said to bring it in, so we did, although we got the impression they thought we'd done it as they were quite off with us and when we got there they said they thought it may have broken its leg, in which case there would be nothing they could do for it    I'm going to phone up in a bit and see what happened to it, but all in all it was a sad night
Ds didn't get to bed until midnight and luckily is now having a lie-in
His behaviour yesterday was absolutely lovely :T :T
