I spent £5 this morning on cakes for someones birthday at work, and stuff for my lunch, then £22 in Tescos tonight but that included a bottle of Pimms and I got a till spit that I will sell on ebay

Ds had swimming after school and now we're vegging watching the tennis, they got given the letter about re-enrolling and he's still going to be in the first group, we've been there for 2 years now and I'm getting really fed up of it, he has made progress but still not enough to go up a level

Hi BB, don't worry too much about the swimming. My DS1 was exactly the same, I gave up with him for a few years, then last year they did swimming lessons in junior school and he swims really good now. I felt the same way, couldn't understand why he wasn't going up to the next group, he's 11 now and I don't have any worries with his swimming now.

One of the items I bought at the car boot sale for 50p is now up to £13.50 and has 15 watchers with 2 days still to go :j :j

That's excellent!!! I would end up buying something for £13.50 at a car boot sale and getting 50p for it on ebay

Woohoo, the bids have gone up, the cardigan is now up to £16 and out of 10 items so far 7 of them will sell for £37.50 :beer:
I've had a lovely curry out with friends tonight, spent £22 but was a lovely evening

Have got a few jobs done this morning; have been to the bank to pay in a couple of cheques, have been shopping for leaving present for a friend at work, also bought a black jumper for work reduced to £3.40 in sainsburys

The flat is an absolute bombsite today for some reason, so my plan for the rest of the day is to get it in some kind of order, get on top of the washing pile and do some cleaning :rolleyes: I also have several admin jobs to sort out, like finding stuff for ds school fayre, filling in tax credits form and finding out when the mot is due etc.

I aim to have most of this done by 4ish so I can veg on the sofa with a glass of Pimms and watch Andy Murray

7 of my ebay items finish today (not the 2 car boot cardigans though), they are currently up to £16.35, so will update later with any last minute bids

One hour into the housework and I've just put the second lot of washing on, hung up the first lot, emptied and refilled the dishwasher, and have almost got everything back into the correct room where it should live However, most of that stuff now needs putting away in its respective room and then theres all the cleaning etc :rolleyes:
In the next hour I'd like to : get *everything* into its correct room, and possibly get one room cleaned, just to make me feel like I'm getting there
