  • Very successful day for you then!!
I got round to listing more [STRIKE]junk[/STRIKE]goodies on ebay this afternoon - but how tedious it is;) Very sad I am - I keep checking for watchers hahaha....
I found bags of clothes to list too, hidden in cupboard under stairs, so the plan is to look through them tomorrow and then iron/photgraph and list....yawn yawn:rotfl:
I really need to sort out a new signature!

Morning all :D I wish ds would learn about lie-ins   He had a nosebleed in the night too, so we were up at silly o'clock with that.

Today I have several jobs to do this morning; make hair appointment, wrap and post 4 ebay parcels, collect ds bike from my mums, register at doctors and book a smear test (has been years and years :o:o ), get a card for people downstairs.

Once I've done all those we are meeting my sister down the beach, theres a lovely wooded walk so the boys will take their bikes and we'll walk then we'll all get the kiddie train back ;) No money making till he's tucked up in bed tonight, I need to focus on him :D Last night he said he wanted to do a jigsaw puzzle;father xmas gave him a box of 10 of them and we sat and did all 10  It took about 3 hours but he concentrated all that time which was amazing for him :D:D

The weather here is lovely now, we've been down the beach and it was lovely :D Ds took his scooter in the end, after we'd already collected his bike from mums  We had a ride back on the little train and had an ice-cream ;)

I went to the doctors but have to see a nurse for a new patient app't before I can do anything. They said they need to wait for my old notes to come through from my old doctors before they send out recall appt's and that could take a couple of months  I will chase again when I go for this appt on March 2nd

I have got the card for downstairs people and have wrapped 3 of the parcels, just need to get a big bag for the last one to go in then post them. I also made my hair app't but then had to change it as I had forgotten about ds swimming lesson in the morning.

So, 10 minutes of mooching on here then off to post the parcels before something else but I'm not sure what yet :D

We've been swimming again this morning and then shopping for my dads present. I also bought myself a jumper for 9.50 in M&S (had a 10.00 voucher), and bought ds a shirt (reduced to 2.00) and a new school jumper (reduced to 2.00), dads card and also 8 KS1 Sat's revision guides/workbooks in Asda. He won't be doing them till next summer but at least it gives me an idea of what he's expected to be able to do by then ;) I had 8.00 of luncheon vouchers from surveys so they went towards it, so all in all I spent 12.00. A quick trip to m&s cafe and another fiver was gone :o

Back home in the warm now and ds is happily playing. The weather is horrible so it will be a staying in afternoon, getting some of his homework done, ironing done, and making grandpa a birthday card ;):D

Tax credits saga .... yesterday they paid me another random 35.00, today they've paid me 2 payments of 14.00 and 386.00 ... so I phoned them up to ask why, and they said it was my normal payment ... I politely read them the letter they sent me this week saying my next payment would be 391.00 on 24th feb, to which they said they have no record of that   but that this was this months payment. When I got home from shopping postie had brought another letter from them with new amounts on, which were similar but not quite the same as they've paid me :o:o Incompetent??  I'll wait and see what else may arrive in my account :D The amount of paper they waste sending out amended awards is scandalous, really really shocking, i cant be the only person to get pages and pages of bumph off them every couple of months, they could save sooo much money if they had a clue  ;)

Well I forced myself to go along to WW tonight having not counted a single point for 3 weeks, eating whatever I want, so I was dreading it, but having been taking ds swimming I was feeling all motivated again... anyway, I haven't put any weight on :j :j So, starting now I'm being good again, I have a long ramble/walk planned for saturday when ds is away, and the point counting starts again now ;) I'm currently 10 st 9.5lbs, I want to get under 10 stone. I do have an italian meal out planned on friday night though and another birthday meal next thursday, but other than that I will try and be really good ;):D

Took ds swimming again this morning, I did 20 lengths while he was in his lesson :j I had yet another letter from tax credits this morning :rotfl: this time they've changed the amounts again, only by pennies but i've no idea why, they're utterly clueless

I'm seriously considering joining the local leisure centre, after April ds will get free swimming there, and i can get a monthly membership for 30.00 which gives me the gym, swimming, saunas etc. its just a case of working out how much use i'll get from it, i've got the time but I have ds with me most of the time, so swimming / gym will be pretty limited, but then I want him to domore physical activity than we currently do, its one of those things that needs to become a habit at an early age I think ... will think about it some more.
