I'd love to say I've only just crept out from under the deluge of cards and gifts this morning Mart but alas no, not a thing, not even a bill  :D I did however buy myself a bag of mini eggs as I happen to think I am lovely today ;) I did also enjoy watching the rugby as yet another treat :o

I went shopping today and spent 7.00 in poundland, including 2 of those clothes dryer things for socks etc, (I have almost all velux windows and they're great for hanging washing up to dry on ;) ), also got weightwatchers wotsits in there for a pound (1.79 in tesco :T ). I also spent 2.35 in wilkos on some writing books for ds (the ones to help handwriting that show where the tall letters sould go etc), and somebrown paper for ebay stuff. Then I nipped to sainsburys and spent another 10.00, on not a lot really :o:o

    Me too...

The amount of stuff that appeared by my door this morning was incredible but sadly, incredibly wrong. It was just the 5,000 plus leaflets I have to deliver on Wednesday and Thursday with the papers....

Ah well, there's always next year. ( sighs with typical blokey over-dramatisation )....

Morning all :D I didn't get to sleep till about 1-2am this morning, I was reading about Jade Goody last night and it really upset me and I couldn't sleep. Needles to say, ds decided I needed to wake up at 6.45 this morning  so I feel like a zombie at the moment :o

I have managed to creep back into bed with the laptop without him noticing yet ;) but I fear my time here is numbered :D

Today should hopefully be a good money-making day; I've got 2 matched bets finishing today which should earn me abou 20-25 pounds, and also several items on ebay finishing, I currently have bids of 34.00, 30.00 of which was needed to finish paying off the Next account so any extra will go in the mortgage pot. I have 5 items finishing today and they all have watchers, so hopefully they will get a few more bids :D

I haven't done a list yet for this week but today I might have a bit of a housework blitz as my sister is coming round tomorrow. Then if the weather stays dry we may go to the forest later.

Morning BB.... tis v sad about Jade, she's not my fave person but wouldn't wish that on anyone. Her poor boys & family. I can't even imagine how she must be feeling right now. Time for counting our blessings maybe??

Your day sounds lovely, we went to Bolderwood last Sun, there was lots of snow, was fab, DD was soooo excited.

No fair you're off for a week now :( lol...... mind you I had a 1 day wk last wk due to having a migraine on Mon and my eye op on Wed... going to be tough this wk doing 3 days :rotfl:

And I'm with you on Valentine's day... OH sent me some lovely flowers, but when he came over last night we watched a film and had a takeaway but did I get any attention, kisses/cuddles etc???? NO!!!! He doesn't seem to understand that I would have preferred just a wee bit of affection rather than big gestures!!!

Still, I expect the broody/envious bit won't last long when she's wailing at 3am ;):D
