Thanks guys! Overpayment now made and signature updated.....The egg card is now at £886 so really really want it gone by the end of August.

I tried spendingdiary.com but failed at that too.......I obviously have some sort of "energy block" when it comes to spending diaries as well as housework :o

My new "money diary" shows I have a surplus after bills and repayments this month available to me of £22.....:T Not a lot, granted, but when was the last time I had a potential surplus :D

I'm doing the August NSD as well - just count the days when you don't spend any additional money to bills that are accounted for. I just leave my purse and cards at home so then I can't spend anything :rotfl: :rotfl:

Today is my last complete day before the tribe returnes form Jamboree - have a list of things to do and house shouldbe clean and sparkly when they get home - that of course will alst for approximately 30 secs but at least i know that it was looking good.

Hope you find the DVD Hypno.

Nice new total Hypno you'll soon be under £50k.

Would it be too painful to have another student during August?! It's sooo nice to have the house back isn't it?

How is OH's search for the extra £1k+ a month going? At least you know that you're in positive territory generally (or is it just for August?).

    HELLLOOOOOOO HYPNOOOOOO!!!

I've been lurking about a bit for the last couple of months which has resulted in far too much spending and not enough concentration on money making.

I've spent the last week catching up with your diary (ies) and am finally up-to-date, but oh my goodness you've been through some highs and lows. I'm thrilled (bit Famous Five, that!) you've paid back so much. It won't be long before you're under £50,000 of debt :j Hurrah! (continuing the Blyton theme).

Your SOA states that you have between £270ish a month to cover food, travel etc. Can I ask what your plan is once you've paid off another debt. Will you snowball all the money or use, say, half of it to snowball onto remaining debts and give yourself an extra £50 a month to make food, travel, Xmas etc a fraction easier? Sorry to be nosey!

Anyway, whatever you do lots and lots of luck  (and of course it's ginger beer :rotfl:)

Am waiting for them to ring back as they have agreed that the letter is wrong !!!!!

Just wanted to say hypno big well done! I have read many of your post and find them really inspiring.

Never realised what happened to your house? Bit unlucky did previous owners know it was not structurally sound? Does buildings insurance not cover the cost of rebuild?

I cant belive how impressive your debt repayment is and your commitment to extra income is fab.

    Hi all!!

gailey - yes, the previous owners DID know.....we tried to sue them and the surveyor but it just lead to more stress. The most help we got from the insurance was the legal cover. It is several years ago now and we are well and truly moved on (apart from the finances) but at the time it was fairly horrific.

surfbabe - we were with eon before, so have just switched tarrif not provider. I will be keeping an eye on it though!

mis bez - hellooooooo. I hope it is LASHINGS of ginger beer :D the idea is to snowball, but obviously I need to avoid bank charges, so sadly the extra may be needed to balance the books rather than to overpay. Most frustrating, what!

Verbatim, our next student arrives at the end of this month, and as we will then have her here until next summer we would really like to have a few weeks to ourselves. That said, if the summer school ring up asking if I have space..........;)
