Hi, Hypno, well done on reaching the 20k.! I havent been on the thread or been reading for a few days. My life is just a bit too traumatic at the moment. I hope to get back to a bit more of a stablelife soon. I just wanted to say I am impressed by your determination and your attitude to your problems. I wish that at the moment I was in the same frame of mind. I think my "down" moments are making me procrastinate too much, and I dont achieve. Think the theory is great but in jpractise I am still too lazy.

Evening - well my mum has had operation, is out of hospital with a nice new proper cast (which if they had put it on correctly wouldn't have resulted in the trauma of the last few days) and a proper sling thingy (again if they had given her that in the first place etc etc etc!!!). I've taken her home where she is happiest as she has loads of friends popping in and out and am now physically and mentally k*******ed, so I think I could be headed for bed early tonight! Have just got to decide whether I have energy to write a letter of compaint to hospital about treatment or lack of etc. Nurses on ward were lovely and really helpful so please don;t anyone think i'm knocking them - I'm not !

mooloo, sorry things don't sound any better! Perhaps a brainstorming exercise to "see your way out" of things might be worth doing. It could focus your mind on things a bit?

Surfbabe, I am glad things are ok now, and hope you can soon get back on an even keel.

My mystery shop is done and submitted. It was excellent because I got to have my hair cut at an expensive salon FOR FREE!!!!! (well, I have paid, but I claim it all back!)......It was lovely to not go to a "bargain" salon, and although I always get a good cut elsewhere, I could pretend to be well off for a moment :D

DS is 13 on Friday, so I managed to bag him a paper round - he is dead chuffed, so I am sure that will work out well for him. He is an early bird which is good, so fingers crossed for that one!

And I have had a NSD - I don't count the money I have spent on the haircut because I will get that back, so no other money spent!!

    Not a bad day then!

Yay to the haircut and well done to Ds for getting a paper round (via you). We live too far out for any of mine to get a paper round but DS1 does cut neighbours grass. Well done on the NSD.

Mooloo, Surfbabe, sorry things are so tough - thats a good ide of hypno's to do a brainstorm about how to get things better - and I really understand about wanting to write a letter of complaint.

Hypno! A good haircut! Wow, what a brilliant mystery shop, I love it.

  • Nice one Hypno, I only ever get banks or supermarkets. I've been good and only been getting my hair cut every other month. Well actually I'm growing it, so I'm not sure it counts.
