I have power tools! And one of them (last weekend's angle grinder!) even has its own shiny little plastic box!
Serious money: I've transferred some money into my current account so that I can open an L&G ISA for the cashback - or get the life insurance, oops.... and I've spent ages this evening trying to get to grips with the "free bet on lose" scenario for the sportingbet freebie, hoping I've still got time to do it.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Karma I've done the L&G ISA AND the life insurance - £190 cashback for the two... Me... greedy0 -
Ooh! It didn't occur to me that you could do both! Ooh - I think I'm going to be greedy too! Thanks xx2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Not greedy - just sensible. How can you be anything but financially sensible if you are taking out an ISA and life insurance
(be warned, L&G take ages to pay through quidco, and you may need to take out an enquiry, but they do pay out eventually!)
Other than my mystery shop today which will be refunded in due course, I am hoping for a NSD today - I have 3 more to achieve this month to meet my target so need to work at it!

Morning - well another day dawns and it won;t be a NSD again because of flaming car park charges at hospital - it's cost me £12 so far this week for two days parking charges!!! Am going into work at normal time today as won't know anything from hospital till 10. Then hopefully they will allow Mum home and I can do the 70 mile round dash and be back for teaching at 4.15 !!!!

Surfbabe, I'm sorry for the traumas you and your family are going through, life is very hard for you right now. Echoing Hypno's hopes above, that life will calm down a bit soon.
Hypno, its true, its not greedy, of course, they've got a couple of marketing tools on the go and we're taking them up on it. Its my due really - my endowment mortgage is with L&G!!!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hi hypno...my name is dmv and I am a serious lurker on your thread! I just wanted to say huge congratulations on reaching your target, that is an amazing amount of money to pay off a debt let alone paying for all the kids sports on top. You really are supermum!0
