Monday morning already - where oh where does the time go!!

OH gets paid in his second job on friday so I can get my colouring pencils ready......until then, there is nothing spare, so aiming for a series of NSDs or almost NSDs this week. I will need a few basics but nothing more than that, hopefully, so should be ok!

Hope you all have a good day x

  • Morning Hypno,

Just thought I'd pop in and say have a good week and I will catch up with you next weekend as I am a way to Devon.

No doubt your total will have gone down masses by then.

I have been uber organised for tomorrow and made couscous.......

    Hi Hypno,

Could you let me have your method for preparing couscous - I follow the directions on the packet everytime and it's always a complete disaster - it ends up looking like Play Dough! Could you assist?

I use the tried and trusted method of:

Weigh NOTHING - we all know that the scales are not our friends.......
Melt some butter in the pan, throw in the couscous and let it absorb the butter, then add some boiling water from the kettle......not measured in a jug, just pour in what you think looks about right, add a pinch of salt.

Take it off the heat and put a lid on it for about 3 or 4 mins, and while you are waiting, you can cook some veggies, or bacon or whatever, then when the liquid has been absorbed just mix in the veggies etc and voila.

Technical stuff, cooking in my house is!!!

(sorry, not much help, am I!)

I jokingly said to my OH I had concussion, but now the hypochondriac in me is agreeing with myself!!! :rotfl:

Hi Walshyboy! I've got the same thing - horrible dizziness. A friend of mine went to the doc with it and was told it's viral labyrithitis. Which sounds rather cool.

Oops typo - that should be Labyrinthitis
