    spam above it seems.......

anyway, have checked online banking and the only thing new is that I have been paid £5 for a mystery shop the other week......so I have transferred £5 over to HSBC.....every little helps!!

Also, despite having written twice, HMRC are still taking out National Insurance contributions for self employment when they shouldn't be! So another letter needs to be written or a phone call next week. I thought it was quite a simple matter to sort out, but obviously not.....

time for one more coffee before skiing, I reckon x

Hypno you probably DO need to keep on paying those NI contributions. You can't earn anything at all self-employed if you don't pay them - so you wouldn't be able to continue doing your therapy, mystery shopping etc. Do find out - I cancelled mine once and it was a real pain having to reinstate them and pay back pay when I found out my mistake.

But I am paying rather more than I need to. I am happy to pay the "low rate" for small self employment, but I don't really want to continue paying the higher rate that they are still paying.

Problem is I don't want to cancel my Direct Debit, because that way they won't get anything. So until they respond to my letters, I just have to keep paying what they are taking.

    Morning Hypno.

Not good about the sleeping. In my last job I had a stressful management job and it often kept me awake at night. Someone suggested putting a note pad by my bed so when I woke up in the bed thinking of something I could write it down on there. Believe it or not it worked as I used to be lying in bed whittling that I wouldn't remember what had woke me up in the first place lol.

Sounds like another hectic day in the world of Hypno. Have a good day.
