One article finished - 700 words. Not too bad but I am sure it will need tweaking in the morning. Funnily (or not) enough, it was an article on not having enough hours in your day :rotfl:
Also managed a NSD and did everything on my (small) list today.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Morning! Am very tired this morning.....but a long day ahead of me today so I need to pick myself up with caffeine fairly soon.
Of course I have still got one article to do, so will do that in my lunch break......but at least I got one done yesterday!
Hope you all have a good day xxSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Morning - well done on getting one article done. I did manage to get DD to sit down with me and go through the pile of University Prospectuses to decide which ones to go and look at last night!! Its down to 5 which was helped by the fact that there were only 5 that do the course she wants to do!!
Anyway must make a to do list for today, get ready for work and go I suppose.
have a good one - enjoy your coffee Hypno0 -
Am awake and moving a bit faster today. Brought the laptop upstairs and am having a cup of tea from the teasmade (not been used in 6 months) and have the laptop funnily enough on my lap, sitting up in bed.
I am a little panicy about some bills that have arrived, and wish I was allowed to sell stuff on a car boot or Ebay as I think I would have been putting it on today if I could. B***er.!
Had hoped for a ns day yesterday and to make some money, but I left my lunch at home, then when I went to post a letter I saw a lot of the meat was half price in the co-op so decided to buy it up. All before I even arrived at work yesterday.
Does the discount on the meat I bought count in the Daily challenge, or is that just part of my September grocery challenge to stay within the spending limit I set?
OH I have a lot to learn to save and to make money! And I need to find ways I can do it without compromising my job!!When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
I don't count reduced stuff or BOGOF or whatever in my daily £10 challenge, but that it just the way that I do it, only counting extra actual money that comes in.
But other people do count shop discounts, or other shopping savings, and that works for them.
As long as whatever you are doing/counting works for you and helps you to focus on saving/debtbusting, then that is good enough!! There are few rules in this game as we are all so different!!
My quidco money came in today - £48 ish so I rounded it up and paid £50 off HSBC - will colour in a box when I get to workSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Think that I will leave that money into the grocery savings- keep me in the grocery target challenge then. So its back to the drawing board and see what else I can do to "earn" money. My clicks seem to have dried up.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0

Ooh, I wonder if I've got any quidco due - there's a lot sitting there, but not much "due", you know....
I wonder what we'd do without caffeine - it'd be a lot more difficult!
Mooloo, keep checking out Martin's link on boosting income (at the top of the thread) and the board, further down the forum list too, they both help.
Have a good day, Hypno and all - I've got a long day too, won't be on much this time, but at least that means I'm earning proper money!
