I would happily slap you duchy, but I fear it would hurt me more than it would hurt you........:o

Go grab a pad of paper and a pen - and get brainstorming a bit - make a plan about what you are going to do to take stuff forward.

Remember that it is not all about salary Mooloo - we "earn" just as much from all the extra MSE stuff etc as we do from real "work" and it is that which takes the debt down. Why not join in the £10 a day challenge for September and see how much you can increase your "income" by?
If I could focus myself then I could probably do it, but as I am not allowed to do car boots, or ebay sales, asit conflicts with the job, I am severely limited with the things that I can do, time, and energy after the twins and babies and DS have been delt with are a bit tough. But I will look into it. When I was off sick I did a few quid here and there on Surveys and on the odd Cash back. Most of that was in vouchers (the things that were stolen in July when I was burgled.) I suppose that made me very negative and very lack lustre to try. But you are right I should still keep trying.
I have just spent the last hour or so looking at the Budget on my Microsoft Money. Unfortunately I hadnt really updated any of it since around April, and now its going to be a miracle if I can get it up to date.
I ahve been able to look at a Budget, but it wont let me wipe out the previous set up, and start from scratch. !!
I would like to save up for a deposit on a Mortgage, in 5 years time when my Bankrupcy is over, but then I will be a bit too old to get a mortgage!!. But I can dream.
THEN I MUST READ YOUR THREAD AND GET THAT INSPIRATION GOING AGAIN !!
Is there a thread with the September Challenge on, and a synopsis of the things people do to get the £10 a day?

There is a thread with the September challenge on - it appeared this evening....go and get yourself signed up.

Also, if you look at the first few posts of the Olympic challenge thread, they give loads of ideas about how to raise extra money. Also I think there is no substitution for just joining in and reading through the posts on the £10 a day challenge as everyone posts their ideas as they come across them.

Try the "up your income" board as well - lots of ideas for earning a few £££ here and there that will fit in around "real life".

Some people on the £10 a day challenge are aiming for £5 instead because they feel that £10 is unachievable, so if that fits in better with your restrictions, then that's fine with us!! Even at £5 a day, you could boost your income by £150 a month - not bad at all!!

Right, am going to bed now - see if I can recoup some of last night's lost sleep! Tomorrow I have a client in the morning, then a mystery shop (wine and coffee included) and then school uniform shopping using M&S pigsback vouchers :T

Of course, MSE is down tomorrow so hope you all have a good day and catch up with you tomorrow evening xxx

ooh ciara, you snook on there while I was typing! Thanks for the congrats!! But as I say, it is as much down to the help that I get from the challenges and support on here as to anything that I actually do myself!!! So thank you too!!

By the time \i got back to read this you were gone. thank you for the motivation. I will look at those threads. ASAP. DS has just come in to tell me he doesnt want to go back to school as he is so far behind. So I think I will have to put him first. But big, THANKS. You have made me feel positive for the first time in weeks and weeks.

:rotfl: Look at the timestamp for this post! Couldn't do anything last night, but here I am, all on my own-io!

Hypno, you've got quite a bit planned for today, I can see - I hope its all going well.

Mooloo - you're right, its the focus thats needed. The monthly challenge is great, seriously, and the board that Hypno mentioned is incredible, there's all sorts of things on there. I haven't paid enough attention to it myself, but I'm really pushing it now - the colouring-in of squares has a very motivating effect!

Not quite on your own KC, I am here - couldn't resist posting before the board goes down.

Today I have to see a client, do a mystery shop, buy school uniform, get DD to a sleepover, tidy the house ready for the student, do a big grocery shop, and make the most of a Paddy Power freebet.

See you all after 9pm I expect!
