A couple of them on the site are energising motivating type things - the mountain walk ones I think.

Good news in the hypno household - I sent OH with some of our clutter to his friends the other week. I had stuff that was in my way that I knew they could use so just told him to take it away........and in return they have given me chocolates :D

Chocolate in return for clutter.........now that has got to be better than 99p from ebay!!!!!

    :D

I'm booting some of my clutter on Sunday with my sis :D
But the more I clear, the more I uncover
And Popeye isn't online, so I can't hold up treasures to the camera and aske can I sell this, and what's it worth? *sigh*

So if he is not there to ask if it can be sold......that give you implied express permission that it can go!

Good luck with the boot sale - I have lost all motivation this weekend for decluttering and housework. Whilst I failed to complete flylady, I have made a bit of a difference.......and I did finish "that" box on the landing, so another box has gone.

Downstairs looks a lot better.....upstairs still to go but not so much to do to make it presentable for the student.

And I still have masses of clutter :o:o:o:o

I emptied the sitting room last night, de-moused the floor, and because everything had to go back it looks just as bad. Only I know the windows are clean and the floor disinfected. Boot fair stuff and e-bay stuff and Popeye's tools are still making the room unusable...... :D

But I did dream of a calm clutter free retreat :o

What a thread! Just been reading the chocolate stuff, and it was a great wake up call.

Clutter - hypno, I don't get how you're so organised but have had your house so cluttered - different from housework, no? Was it like Pandapaws' stuff, originally to sell, or two houses combined into one or something? Olive - sorry it looks the same - but at least you know when you *do* get rid of it, there are no nasty surprises any more lurking underneath, thats got to be reassuring.

I don't have to de-mouse (I don't think!) but there was a bit of a funny smell in the house last night. Of course, it could be from having the windows tight shut, and two loads of very wet washing hanging up to dry. I hope thats what it is. I *fear* tho, that I need to spring clean the house like I spring cleaned the kitchen over the last two weeks....

    Hmm....clutter....where do I start!!

Some of it is stuff that we mean to sort out for selling, giving away etc...stuff that has accumulated over the years that we have outgrown in one way or another.....stuff that no longer gets used that we haven't got round to car booting etc........the garage is full of my dads stuff.....OH has a habit of obtaining other peoples stuff that is too good to "throw away" which means that it might come in useful one day, or we should ebay it/car boot it or whatever!

All those sim cards you get for free on quidco, pigsback blah blah blah.....you never know when you might need a variety of sim cards in an emergency......

and so on and so forth!!

It is a case of being disciplined - and whilst I can be disciplined in many areas......this is the one that I seem to constantly fail at!!

Talking of disclipline.......I need to get showered, changed and out for a client 10 miles away at 10am........must get moving!!!

    Catch you later!!
