Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
    Hello again MSP,

Sorry for the delay, been at work and cannot post from there.

The fire says Glow-worm co-ordinate G on the dial but cannot find any other details on it. Ideally we'd like to get rid of the lot and put a gas stove in front of the wall, with our last house we only needed a small hole at the back to allow the vent to go up the chimney - am I correct?

Also, if we change to a combi-boiler, would the new boiler be able to be fitted in the airing cupboard upstairs where the current hot water tank is? It would help as there isn't an outside wall from our kitchen.

    Thanks in advance, sal
you can't take it with you...
  • Some spares are still available for Gloworm back boilers.

In theory a new combi can be fitted in an airing cupboard, but it will be down to the installer to verify if this would be applicable in your case. The main considerations are the flue and the condensate drain.
