I'm late on this one again  at least I can read through and fill in the gaps for my meals the rest of the month
Fri was smoke pork sausage, oven chips and veg
Sat was out at a party
Sun was Toady hole and veg etc
Mon: Smoked peppered mackerel with roast veg
Tue: Chicken Dhal + naan (OH won't eat dhal without some meat)
Wed: Sausage cassoulet
Thur: HM chilli wraps
Fri: Salmon and veg
Thinking the double salmon dish might have to appear on the list soon - although OH doesn't eat pasta or ricecould I serve it with pearl barley or potatoes or something??
working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Gonna join you guys, as we're trying very hard to rein in the household expenses, and I'm hoping I'll find continued inspiration amongst your menus.
Here goes:
Monday - Chicken drummers with Tesco value Sweet and sour sauce, mashed spuds
Tuesday - Leftover cooked chicken in Tesco value curry sauce and rice
Wednesday - home made burgers with salad and H/M relish
Thursday - bangers 'n' mash, gravy, onions and broccolli
Friday - Lasagne crusty bread
Saturday - meatballs 'n' pasta
Sunday - Boiled bacon and jackets
Breakfast is toast, cereal, etc.
Lunches, value pizza, beans on toast, bacon sarnies etc.
As you can probably see, the recurring theme is Tesco Value.I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.0
