I think we are funny about our meat in general as a nation, and its taken me four years to get away from buying the most expensive type of meat (i still dont trust tesco value meat or frozen meat).
I don't think that is being funny about meat! Especially now as I study agriculture I would never, never, NEVER touch t*sco value meat!

Tell him now he's going to be a dad it's his duty to try and make sure he doesn't die of a heart attack/colon cancer at the age of 55, which he is at risk of doing.
If that doesn't hit home, tell him he needs to bung up an extra £20 a week housekeeping money to cover all that meat.
Then I think you'll just have to leave it to him. He's a grown up and it's up to him what he eats. But just because he eats that way doesn't mean you and the kiddie have to - do your own thing.
I get the same thing from my OH but not quite to that extreme - but he expects meat in his evening meal or it's not a real meal. And he doesn't count mince or 'small bits', what he likes is big lumps of it. Still, I just ignore the face-pulling and cook what I fancy :-) bolog sauce a couple of times a month isn't going to kill him.Cash not ash from January 2nd 2011: £2565.:j

Any advice given is as an individual, not as a representative of my firm.0 -
