WOW
i've recieved more help here in the last few hrs than anywere else.
In answer to your question Dalip yes its was a joint IVA.
Should i feel bad about them losing money ? No way they missold it in the first place!!! NDL were amazed when they saw our SOA that they advised us to take a IVA. We were never suitable in the first place!!!!! If they werent trying to scam people they would have realized this themselves, but instead tryed to line there own pockets at my familys expence!!!
Jude thanks for the PM i am going to complain like ive never complained before!!!!
Again thank you all, you gave me my fighting sprit back.

The reason i asked was that i was told joint IVA's where stopped a while back, when we tried to do a joint IVA.My train of thought was if it was just you who had the IVA then your OH (or visa versa)could go bc and therefore the house would then fall under the OR'S possesion(sp)and then maybe DFD would give you the certificated needed for you to go bc!!D
I know what i m trying to say but think i might be confusing the issue:o So will leave you all to it.lol.DFree impartial debt advice available from: National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000 | The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 | Find your local Citizens Advice Bureau

Hi Dalip
Think i know what you mean, We both had our IVA done on the sameday at the same time but in our own names.
Does this answer you question?
I know it cost DFD around £1500 to do it.

Yes i just wondered as we tried to do a joint IVA but OH debts not enough to qualify. I could have but did not earn enough to pay them their wack,so my IVA company advised bc. It was just a thought. Yes, go for it Zoe, complain all over the place - the Institute of Chartered Accountants have a reputation to keep up. As members DFD will have a Professional Indemnity (Malpractice) insurance policy, possibly through the Institute. The insurers will want to know what they are up to. A few potential claim notifications - even if they do not come to anything - will start red flags flying.

Right how strong are you as a peson? If you are quite strong use their 10 phonecalls a day against them and vent some frustration at the same time. Everytime they phone ask for the piece of paper you need, ignor everything they say, don't even listen. Just keep repeating I want X sending out imediatly. Its their phone bill once you stop being scared or listening to the crap you feel a lot better and they can do bot all about it.Barclaycard 3800
