    I've got vinyl in the bathroom and laminate in the ensuite. Mats in both and no problems with slipping etc (and no smells!). I would go for tiles on the floor of the bathroom if I had the spare cash..........

    Thanks everyone.

    i actually made the smell worse originally by vax cleaning the carpet around the toilet. The added water made it smell worse and soak through more.
    now mum of 4!!!
