Does anyone have any idea of the release date of the above two Nokia phones please? After searching, the most info I can find is 'third quarter 2008'.

I have heard that from a CPW guy that it is mid-august, I like the look of the 3600, not had a Nokia for quite some time, but it looks really nice form the pics I have seen0

Thanks for your info! I agree. The 6600 seems a higher spec, but no doubt with a higher price tag!makinprogress0

BUMP! Just in case anyone has any further info? Sorry to be a pain, but I'm 'mobile phoneless' since my 3 yr old 'lost' my phone, 'somewhere in the Brabantia Bin' we think!
Don't want to shell out on a new one that I don't really want!

CPW August brochure states Nokia 6600 is available in September.0

I have seen that Carphonewarehouse say its out next month sometime, I do hope that this is true.
If I was to buy it as unlocked, how much do you think it would cost me? I was about the buy the 6500 Slide as I have a contract O2 SIM card, but then if this is coming out in a months time I might just hold out for it, especially if its less than £2000 -
CPW phones usually come unlocked.0

Do they usually repeat the phone model name? 6600 was very popular before with its very first symbian.0

Nokia have recently started to reuse model numbers but are tagging them with 'classic' or 'slide'. Model numbers are a bit of an afterthought..."Who throws a shoe, honestly?"
