I agree with you but... 6 large free range eggs in tesco are now £1.52 increasing the cost of the above recipe by 50% to 77p - so be careful where you buy your eggs from!

Sorry, you're right. I only priced for 1 egg! Doughnut.........:rotfl::rotfl:

It's amazing though the tricks that these big retailers and manufacturers go to to blatantly rip us off effectively. I'd rather they were straight with us and just put the price up. makes me very disloyal to these companies and i'll do all i can to avoid spending money with them. I've been blagging loads of apples/pears etc from the farms i deliver to. I found a local free range egg supplier at less than half the cost of supermarkets. it makes me laugh that these big shops don't think we'll notice but it's fairly obvious that MSE'rs are an attentive bunch. Not much gets past us!!

  • I bought some shloer grape drink today on my home shopping order. What a surprise I had when I unpacked it. The price is stil the same but the bottle is now 750ml instead of a litre. Rip off or what.

I am convinced that cadbury's cream eggs are smaller than when I was little. I am sure that I used to eat the inside with a spoon first. Now I don't think any spoon will fit.

I also noticed Waggon Wheels, they are so much smaller than I remember.
    Looking forward to the future.

My partner and I have only recently really got into using Tesco value items am I'm outraged at the price increases recently, their value tin foil has doubled in price to 50p, their chocolate sandwich biscuits increased by 16p and their value butter has pretty much doubled too. Just when we thought we had found a way to knock our shopping bills right down the sodding shops put their prices up! still despite that we still managed to get a weeks worth of groceries for 2 adults for less than £29 this afternoon

We've just had lunch at my parents house (very moneysaving :D ) and my dad was bemoaning the decrease in the number of Yorkshires in the Aunt Bessies pack.

He also says he believes that the Sainsburys Bieres de Flandres(those little stubby bottled lagers) has gone from packs of 24 to packs of 18
