  • Strongbow Cider - used to be in packs of 18 cans (often on the 'buy-2-4-£16' supermarket deals) now it is boxes of 15 cans on the same deal!!!!!

I've also noticed bacon packs having less slices in, but can't remember where it was, sorry.

Oh - and - Kazmeister - Why not keep your old cordial bottle, pour in some of the new stronger one & dilute it in the bottle? - the kids will use it and dilute it as normal! (it's worked for me - I've also slightly diluted normal squash to stretch it further and they haven't noticed!!!!!)

Birds Eye frozen peas shrunk from 907g to 800g several months ago, whilst the price increased by about 15% (IIRC).

Perhaps this isn't exactly what you're looking for but I noticed recently (when on slimming world & having to look up calories & syns etc) that multipack items are often smaller than individual ones - eg Curly Wurlys & quavers sold individually are a larger product than the ones in the multipacks...

Yes and the Cadbury Twirls seem smaller too, or is that just me?

Noticed this a few years ago when the foot and mouth crisis was on. The packs of sliced meat in Asda suddenly went from 400g to 300g for the same price.

  • Large bars of Mikybar seem to be thinner - as in around half the size thinner.... Not something I would eat but I noticed this in the local Co-op last night
