BB - I've just read the explanation of why number 16 was withdrawn - it seems like sour grapes to me.
Yes, you unintentionally broke a site rule, but stopped the second you realised you weren't allowed to post links to the referrers board (she was very ungracious in not accepting your apology, and is talking as though you are continuing to break the rules).
But crucially, you didn't break the rules of the actual competition, so her emailing the person running it is just petty.
If she is claiming 'unfair advantage', then she should perhaps think about the advantage that she has had over all the other entrants, who probably aren't members of internet forums where they can request votes, and are therefore relying on non-internet friends and family, and 'passing trade' (if anyone wants to dispute that advantage, the poll results speak for themselves really).
It seems to me that the battle was still on while number 16 was ahead (which it was at the time of you posting the links), but now that Charlie is ahead, suddenly it's soooooo unfair *stamps feet*.
And the little quote from one of the other posters on the thread (about number 17 being 'so obvious blah blah blah') was actually just downright nasty.
Well said. It all seems rather unnecessary26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

I'm not even going to read it.
the last 'argument' on the forum really upset me.
I think she was silly to withdraw her entry when at the time, he (and by he I mean the dog) was IN THE LEAD! For goodness sakes, she was just afraid to lose so instead, she CHOSE to leave the competition! that's just being silly.

ta
Not quite sure about what the quote about so obvious etc meant, but I just kind of called him with the camera pointing at him whilst he was playing - there are plenty of much less calm looking photos with tongue hanging out, head turning away, blurred 'action' shots disappearing off the edge of the frame I could have chosen that I've taken over the years! :rotfl:
exactly Bun.........ah well..........

Hey guys, i have some MSE bargaining news for you!
I needed 2 (or so i thought) new tyres for my pride n joy... so i called around and got a good price for 2 x firestone (very good make) tyres. 2 for £170.. which is good as i'd pay that for mid range ones anywhere else...
Anyway when i go to Kwik fit the offer is finished but the guys say he'll match it. checks out the tyres and says it actually needs 3 tyres... plus the other is passable but not that brill.
So i elect for 4 firestones, on the offer £340, less a bit of discount, he says how about £300....
the long and short of it is, i am now the proud owner of 4 firestone tyres for the bargain price of £230!! what a cheeky MSE-er i am!! Essentially £400's worth of tyres as singly they are circa £100I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -

Thankfully, I have managed to 'cure' myself. Nothing like a nice pickle tickle I say...
Bunny, did your OH use the classic line 'I've got a cure for that' :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
My DH has a 'cure' for all known ailments :rolleyes:Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:
