I couldnt find it online - its in the Sun today and seems to be instore only... worth phoning to reserve one if you want one. They will be quite popular at this price I think. A few other deals as well but nothing worth shouting about. A 1gb Mem stick for £69 quid, and a wireless set for 90 odd.Being bored is so boring Im bored of it... :rotfl:0 -
Cheers mate, ill check it out....0

I also looked for the link but reasoned that it must have been an in-store offer. No staples near me, but I had a quick look on ebay and they have quite a few buy it nows of the same product (new) but with £7 postage. Might still be a saving for someone who is in my boat with no staples nearby.
Incidentally, does anyone know if you actually NEED a stereo for these to go through ? i.e. can you just get away with speakers ? I like the sound of this gadget but our house is littered with "gadgets that I bought that did not really do what I thought they did". Another one would send my OH over the edge.
Thanks0 -
Ebuyer recently had a similar Linksys product, but priced much lower at £17.99. I've been thinking about whether to buy one over the last week, but they're now out of stock: http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?action=c2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=51510
(or search for Quickfind code 51510).
It seems that these older 802.11b products will be cleared out by retailers to make room for new 802.11g based products...0 -

It has a headphone socket (and from memory, as they are at home) the remote control has volume controls that control the headphone output so powered pc speakers would be fine.0 -

it says the MP101 is 802.11b on the Netgear website http://www.netgear.co.uk/netgear_mp101_digitalmusic.php0 -
Hmmm... it is confusing. All the shops state it is g, as does this bit of the page I linked to, although it says "compatible", which means it is probably b. Cunning!

This thing (Linksys) has REALLY BAD reviews - here is one of them:

Very hard to set up and use.
Netgear one is a "b" one, although that shouldnt matter for music, only video (which this doesnt do).Being bored is so boring Im bored of it... :rotfl:0
