I have two daughters starting Uni in September and renting a flat in Edinburgh. Looking for advice on the best Broadband package around just now. Hope some one can help. Many thanks.

As they are going to be in a city, it is possible that the mobile phone companies 'mobile broadband' would be good as it could follow them around from flat to flat. Perhaps even be used where ever they were in the city. I'd check with the University, who will no doubt put you through to the students union, who will know the answer.

Having already put 3 daughters through University.....enjoy the expense

Thanks for that! Our third daughter (the eldest) could spring Uni on us too!!

We would like to have this internet connection up and running before they start Uni in mid September. I utsuppose students union wouldn't be able to help out until Uni started. Thanks for your advice. Mobile broadband can be quite slow though and we wondered if there was an alternative.
