As Lakeuk mentions Trading Standards I thought I would also give them a mention... you should report Asda to them, this will probably not be the first, and last time this has happened, and it is only through the fines that the companies learn it seems. Besides, what if you hadn't checked the date??

You can report the store to trading standards via email.
http://www.tradingstandards.gov.uk/ then put your postcode in.
