Its quite right, if your dad had bid enough to cover the reserve, the auction would automatically start the bidding at the reserve amount. Due to the fact that the reserve price has not been met, you really don't have a problem, you have not met the stated reserve price and as such are under no obligation to buy it.0

well I've just wrung my dad and he said that the three options weren't relevant for the reason he wanted to retract his bid, so he sent ebay an email. Doh! So I asked him if I could do it for him and he agreed so I have retracted his bid under option that description been changed.
So allks well that ends well! Moral of story? Listen to your daughters!!
