hope someone can help to tell me what the new % price increse will be for electicity only customers on the click 5 tarrif?
cheers for any help,
Hi msampson.
I assume that you are on Click 5 energy.
I have tried contacting BG about dates on when these prices will change, but keep getting told that I am Click 4, and to visit the website for latest prices.
They have not answered my question (I am thinking of changing to Click 5, if the increase is not to take place)
Hav eyou heard anything yet from BG about Click 5 increases ?0 -
I think the wording here should read "when they change".
Last time my Click 4 Tariff increased (Feb) I didnt get an e-mail until May informing me of the increase.
This time, I e-mailed to BG, informing that I am expecting to pay old tariff rates, until they inform me that my price has changed prior to being billed.
This they have failed to do !0 -

Isn't there a regulation that they have 65 days to notify you of the price change which you can then reject (if you switch) and they then can't apply the change until you transfer to new supplier?"fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, and wiser people so full of doubts." What I cannot understand is:
Gas Bill - I was still in credit after billing, and BG has increased my Direct Debit payments by £5.00
Credit: - £46.50
I assumed the minus (-) sign meant I was actually in debit so I gave BG a call. The adviser said because the american software they use, it automatically put a minus sign in front to signify that is a credit. I can understand this as from the business' point of view... they are in debit to me.
On inspecting my bill more closely, however, they have adjusted my monthly DD by an increase of £10.50?!?!0
