Paypal - Is this a scam?

I just received a second offer from someone different with almost exactly the same email, except this time it was to a friend in USA.
It's just a pity there wasn't some way to report their email address and get it banned, although they would probably just keep setting up new ones.
I reported the first one to spoof@paypal.com
Thanks for that address.0 -
aything Nigerian involving money tends to be dodgy.0
-
They are now targetting Gumtree and other similar sites cannot remember the names0
-
All they do is spoof emails, check the message header to see where it really came from. I used to bounce this type of emails and any spamming ones, but after I read that all the bounced ones will end up back at the spoofed address and the person who actually has that address gets 1000's of emails back they never even sent, clogging up their email. So now I just delete them or send them to a "blackhole".0

If there's a link to Paypal on the email, run your mouse over the link and see what address is at the bottom of the screen, if it's a long foreign address, ignore!0
